Hrachya Ohanyan is an Armenian master sculptor and woodworking artist whose creative journey began in 1985, when he set out to honour the ancient traditions of Armenian woodcraft while forging a bold and entirely contemporary vision for the art form.

Driven by an unwavering dedication to his craft, Hrachya spent decades perfecting his technique — developing a distinctive approach to fine woodworking that blends deep respect for heritage with genuine artistic innovation. In 2010, the fruits of that lifelong commitment took institutional form with the founding of the Hrachya Ohanyan Company, a creative atelier that has since become a beloved destination for collectors and admirers of exceptional handcrafted art.

The studio produces a wide range of works — Armenian traditional, classical, and original author's models — each crafted from carefully selected, high-quality materials and shaped by the hands of skilled, experienced masters. Among the studio's most celebrated creations are works featuring the iconic contour of Mount Ararat (Masis) — pieces that have become the signature hallmark of the Ohanyan atelier and have been protected under patent for more than 25 years.
