Warm amber and cream tones fill the sky as a crowd of golden-haloed angels hovers high above a dark, sleeping city. Their wings are built from thick white oil paint, while the glowing background is layered in acrylic and finished with delicate black ink splatters. The wooden houses are attached to the canvas, and thin metal wires run across the rooftops, with little red and yellow traffic-light boxes adding a playful city rhythm. Created by Ani Hovak in mixed media, this piece belongs to the Angels Over the City series and brings a hopeful, imaginative note to any home or office.
