A rosy pink sky holds a gathering of golden-haloed angels, some floating in pairs and some alone, above a row of dark, hand-built wooden houses. Their wings are painted in thick white oil, while the acrylic sky and black splatters give the scene a dreamy, gentle energy. Thin metal wires stretch over the rooftops like old city power lines, and the golden halos glow softly against the pink. Created by Ani Hovak in mixed media, this tender collage belongs to the Angels Over the City series and brings softness, hope and a touch of humor and charm to a nursery, bedroom or living room.
