Soft peach-pink dusk melts into a glowing coral horizon as a small, joyful flock of golden-haloed angels drifts above a quiet town. Thick white strokes of oil paint form their wings, while the sky is painted in acrylic and dotted with fine black splatters. The rooftops are handmade wooden houses fixed to the canvas, with thin metal wires stretching between antennas, giving the collage real depth, texture and charm. Created by Ani Hovak in mixed media, this work is part of her Angels Over the City series and brings warmth, hope and gentle humor to a living room, bedroom or office.
