A cluster of village houses tumbles across the canvas in bold slashes of fiery red, orange, and sky blue, stitched together by sagging power lines and a white laundry line. A lone dark figure trudges along the gray lane beneath a huge cobalt tree, adding a human note to the lively composition. Scratched white lines, layered acrylic textures, and raw gestural strokes give the scene a restless, rhythmic energy. Davit Arstamyan turns an ordinary neighborhood into an expressive study of memory, color, and everyday life, nostalgic yet modern, chaotic yet full of warmth and character.
