A stocky, volumetric figure sits absorbed in playing a stringed instrument, his rounded forms built from thousands of tiny pointillist dots that give the entire surface a shimmering, textured luminosity. Geometric architectural fragments and a boldly simplified green tree populate the warm golden background, placing the musician in a stylised yet grounded village setting. The technique — pointillism married to a cubist-influenced figuration — creates a vibrating visual rhythm that mirrors the act of music-making itself.
