Two fishermen share a sunlit shore in this joyful, mosaic-like scene, one mending his net beneath a crimson sail while the other carries the day’s catch in a basket on his head. Tiny dabs of golden orange, ruby, azure and green build the figures like stained glass, while rolling waves anchor the composition below. Meliq Khazaryan blends pointillist texture with cubist, folk-inspired forms, turning everyday coastal labor into a warm celebration of work, community and tradition. The Fishermen is a vibrant decorative piece that adds sunshine, movement and story to any living room, kitchen or den.
