A warm, fiery composition teems with mythic figures, birds, and fish against a glowing orange ground in this richly symbolic work. Harutyun Aghajanyan weaves stylised female forms, crowned creatures, spirals, and petroglyph-like marks into a dense, decorative tapestry, layering black, crimson, and cream with passages of fluid, textured impasto and delicate dotted patterning. The figures seem to dance and float through a dreamlike ancestral world, where folklore, fertility, and nature intertwine.
