An elderly man in a gray hat leans on his walking stick as he approaches a cream-colored village house, where a woman in an orange headscarf waits quietly in the doorway. Sweeping, round trees in cobalt, scarlet and tangerine frame the tender meeting, while a fiery red path and ochre fields glow with Armenian village warmth. Davit Arstamyan uses bold, expressive brushwork and simplified shapes to turn a simple daily moment into a story of home, memory and patient love. A colorful, narrative painting full of nostalgia and rhythm, perfect for collectors of Armenian art and warm modern interiors.
